Blower Motor Issues

Hi, I own a 2006 Ranger with the 3.0 V6. I have been having issues with the blower motor. If I turn the truck off without turning the fan down and controls off, there is a 50/50 chance it works upon starting. If I do turn everything off, it usually works, minus one time it didn't. Slamming the door sometimes makes it work, however not always and turning everything off before restarting the truck does not work. It seems to need 2-4 hours before it will.

It has high miles, over 201k, and know blower motors sometimes go out at higher mileage. It is the nature of these issues that are confusing me and making it incredibly hard to diagnose at shops. There has also been a gurgling noise from under the passenger dashboard when turning the motor off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
