If you have a mac try this: hold Command+option+control and press "8" all at the same time. Try that and see if you like it.

Honestly, I dont think I have ever changed the themes.

This one is fine for me. I do know that few subtle changes have taken place over a longer period of time.

you do them all at once. At least it does on mine... maybe mountain lion is different. the three buttons to the left of the space and the '8' key all at once.

Yeah, this new theme kills me. We need something like pirate's theme.

Of course I only have a screen shot of it while it was having problems, but you get the general idea. It was much nicer on the eyes.
