Flex Fuel to Non Flex Fuel Engine Swap

I own a Totaled Regular Cab 2007 Ford Ranger 3.0 Non Flex Fuel Engine. I found a Extended Cab 1999 Ford Ranger with a Blown 3.0 Flex Fuel Engine.
Is it possible to swap the two engines putting my 2007 engine in the 1999 Ranger?
Is there anything I should be concerned about if I do this swap?

Thanks In Advance
Eli

Yes, you can do that, but you need to use the flex fuel injectors on the 2007 engine, they will fit

In fact you should swap upper and lower intake manifolds, so take these off the blown 1999 3.0l engine and use them on the working 2007 3.0l engine
This way all the wiring connectors and vacuum and fuel lines will match up

Also always change rear main seal when an engine is out, and on the 3.0l, the timing chain cover gasket was a known coolant leak point and a real pain to change when engine is in the vehicle

3.0l flex fuel difference was the computer, fuel injectors, and head's dome shape
Heads don't matter, gas only or flex fuel heads are interchangeable as SETS, been done many times
Computer and injectors are matched, flex fuel used different Pound size, so if you used gas only injectors the flex fuel computer would set LEAN codes forever, lol, so use flex fuel injectors with flex fuel computer, simple
