great site, possible suggestion?

great forums here, im new here but have been active in forums for years. maybe there could be a generation specific section for tech issues or whatever? i have an extremely hard time finding info for my 2nd gen Ranger. and yes i do know how to search on these vBulletin forums

just a suggestion, otherwise great site

no im not, im working on becoming one after i graduate next winter. im signed up for my EMT-B cert classes for this spring and then after college ill be ready to test, but id like to volunteer for a bit first. my friend is FF for BRFD though, his name is Matt Werner.

HAHA, thats crazy. I know Matt. If you ever decide to put on a BL there are a few guys on this forum that would give you a hand.

just so you know man 90% of this web sit is 98+ trucks thats why its hard to find stuff for the 97 and down trucks. im not trying to take away from this site but the ranger station has more 97 and older trucks. but i like the community here better

small world! yeah being a FF is my life goal so im working hard to accomplish it. thanks for the help invite but with both my grandpa and my dad being master mechaincs and growing up in a household like that, ill just take it home to our detached garage and do work. mayb ill contact you later about your VFF job, BRFD interests me after school, figure it'd be a good start

i frequent Ranger Station too, they're forums arent nearly as helpful. i like the tech/overall feel on this site much better too.

yeah i love talking trucks, firefighting, or whatever. its always good to pick current FF's brains to help me in m career path, i get a lot of info from the guys at the house when ive been on ridealongs

Yeah....if you can't find what you're looking for, just post up a new thread. While we could add Gen sections, your inquiry would fit into any of the existing sections.

I had a 1990 XLT with the 2.9L. Still have some parts for it.
