Hi all,

Recently got the truck, a 1998 stepside.
So the pass side brake light does not work. taillight portion of bulb does. Bulb changed, still the same. when i press the brakes, the interior dome light glows faintly as well, is that normal?

In addition, but perhaps separate, i don't know, neither of the backup lights work. again, bulbs are OK.

Fuses all good.

Advice please before i start lying on the ground in the rain trying to figure out where the connectors are and try to trace the wiring ( i did see something in this forum about a connector near the spare tire????)
