You didn't do anything wrong. The ones who apparently didn't believe or remember the seriousness of the annoucement about not doing that crap are on temporary bans ranging from 1-3 days. I like to call it "go sit in the corner time"

Gotta agree with everybody else. What I saw and lead to me locking it had nothing to do with you. It was the others who needed a time out

Oh and we are going to need some more pics of the jeep, with a little more mud this time.. lol..

Yeah.. I read the threads and you were HARDLY even remotely responsible for that.

Truth be told I don't fully understand why most of them were temporarily banned. I only saw one or two of them being marginally innapropriate. I can only assume that some of it was entirely deleted.

Yeah, I read that thread. I still don't fully understand. We've seen far worse, and I think that banning and thread locking just draws attention to it and promotes it. You're never going to get rid of such juvinile behavior.

But I'm not in charge, it's not my call. I'm not meant to understand everything somedays..

Mised the front page thing. Many of us regulars have the forums direct linked..

some people are just trouble makers
a few of them showed their true colors
maybe a longer cooling period is called for
let them spread their filth on another site

Yeah, me too, lol -- just not on the Jeep thing!

I really don't care what people drive. I like my Ford, but I'm hardly a "partisan" on that issue.

It wasn't based soley on this thread. This has been building for a while and we have had a few 'complaints' recently. Look at this more as "The straw the broke the camels back." Yes locking may draw undo attention to it, but its necisary to sort through the garbage sometimes. I support Christians decisions for the "Time Outs" and hope it shows some of the trouble makers hear that it won't be tollerated anymore.

Sorry if I'm steping on Skots toes, but I felt like responding

I'm just glad I've been busy lately, I wouldn't have been able to resist firing a few salvos in response to the blatant flaming. It esp. makes me angry that someone would attack Ty, shes a sweetheart.

I do feel better about the idea that I would (um.. probably will) get a "warning" temp-ban if I get out of line.. I didn't get that courtesy elsewhere.

Likewise. I've said it before, I'd have one of each if I had the means.. But then this wasn't a Jeep vs Ford thing or anything like that. It was just a couple of two year olds pretending to type like grownups. Nothing shockingly new..

That's cool. Like I said, I don't know the whole story.. not sure I want to.
