R-F is recognized as "junk"...
According to my E-mail account, anyways.
When I edited my e-mail two days ago, R-F sent an e-mail with the confirmation link in it, with which I had to click and complete the registration.
BUT, there was one problem....no e-mail.
So for two days I was locked out from here....until about five minutes ago, I had a popup signaling new "Junk" mail....so I started once not to open it, thinking it was a damn chain letter or something. Wrong. It was my confirmation. :o
Moral of the story: Never underestimate your junk mail. And if you do happen to edit your e-mail, and don't get a confirmation, check your junk.
WHEW! Good to be back.... :D

Yeah, mine went into the junk too. I told Google NEVER ever to send something from something as famous as R-F.com to the junk.
ANyway, for those of you that have GMail like IO do, there is an interesting link off Yahoo search telling you why Gmail is BAD. It makes sense, but then again...I don't care what they say. I like their service. Naturally, it won't show up in a Google search.
Do you know that Google has positions for someone that has a Top Secret TS/SI Clearance issued from the government like I have? Now THAT, is freaky.

Very common with any automaticlly generated e-mail from any forum. It also happens with ListServ's a lot too. This has been a problem since R-F first began and it occurs with every other forum too. So don't feel too bad, it isn't just us or you.

The e-mail actually comes from trevelyn1015@hotmail.com I believe. While the content of the e-mail may trigger a spam filter, you should put Christian's e-mail address on your safe list. Then you will have no more problems...

Outlook would have nothing to do with it. It is the spam filtering on your ISP long before it is sent your inbox. It is looking at the mail headers for tell-tale signs of spam. Unfortunately, the automaticlly generated messages from forum software very often look just like spam messages and get put in the spam folder. If you never look in your mail server's spam folder, you will never get the message. The filters are learning filters. Once you tell it that message isn't spam, it will deliver future messages to your inbox.
