your 2wd so im guessing you got in the mud and stood on the gas because you dont know how to drive...

and how are they bad in small rocks? my performance all season tires do just fine in small rocks so it really must be driver error or you dont have any idea what your talking about...

not to sound ****ty or anything, but did you check the wheels for round i would almost bet that your new tires will wear uneven/badly....sounds like something else is off like alignment/ball joints.....you are the 1st person i have heard of about the BFG A/t's wearing bad....

ok, bash the bfg at's...

but my question to the "they suck" crowd, what psi are/where you running?

if its over 30 or 32 psi, thats why...
call BFG they will tell you to run 30-34 psi for the light truck tire...

i think its funny that someone would say they suck, they are an a/t tire, what do you expect...

i was in some nasty mud today and i stopped in it and everything, and im 2wd with a 3.73 open.

as of right now, my truck is a chunky tan color.
pics will come tomorrow when theres daylight.

The reason I get mud terrains is because the only terrain I can get stuck in is MUD. I'll never get stuck in dirt or the on the highway so thats why I bought the M/T. I feal safe stopping in mud because I know I can climb out while my friends and their A/T's have to keep up their momentum. Thats why on skinny trails I stop in front of them then shoot mud at their window, it makes them wonder why they bought a A/T.

Ive seen this quote every time the BFG debate comes up and like always i will say: You sir have just said one if the dumbest statements ever...

Correct me if i'm wrong, but if a large segment of a market is using one specific product it shows something about the quality of that product. Maybe the fact that in a overall performance standpoint the BFG will out perform every other tire on the market... now im not saying that’s fact but from the almost 40 times I’ve gone offroading with people i have yet to see a better performing tire. This is in every terrain minus mud... but i do not go mudding; because i enjoy my truck actually working properly and find it boring slamming through 1 or 2 puddles over and over.

but my bad, we are just all sheep following what the crowd does

Lol, minus mud. Like I said above mud is about the only thing people actually get stuck in so what your saying is you wanted a tire that performed well in everything but the one thing that counts. And I bet you that my M/T's have more bite on your dirt trails than an A/T.

But that's just my opinion.

So by your logic, can I assume sunglasses you buy for 5$ off of the rack at a walmart are much higher quality than Oakley glasses...because they sell more of them.

You can't use that comparing 5 dollar glasses to 200 dollar Oakleys. Tires are normally within 50 dollars of each other, it makes for a more competitive market.

The reason people buy the BFG A/T is because they are a mild trail tire built for the street. Its a tire meant for soccer moms or construction workers, they may touch dirt every now and then so people feal the need to buy a tire that can handle some dusty trail. You will never see a trail rig or someone who actually offroads their vehicle with A/Ts.

Like Trentin said you cant compare them.. thats like saying my vette is better then your civic si... both built to be "fast cars" but wayyy different leagues. Also Jared, i doubt your MTs grip better on a real hard dirt trail vs the ATs. If you compare two identical trucks with each tire on it the AT would have far less slippage and chunking. And to be honost the small amount of mud i have come across and gone through i have never had a problem with the ATs

My argument may not be the best but its just retarded when people bash the bfg because "everyone has it" or wow this AT tire blows ***** when im romping through the mud.
