I remember paying $800+ back in like 2001 for HID kits.
This is back when you couldn't get any "cool" colors.

 

I just bought a set for my quad. I'll let you guys know when they come in.

Korey that's gonna look good on your truck, I've debated getting yellow fog bulbs, the local race shop sells them...

 

Hopefully they work good, and look good too.

I bought some cheap china brand ones since they were all I could afford with the money left in my Paypal, but if you get some get Nokya brand ones. They are supposed to be the best and are only like $20 on eBay too.

I am ordering em from VVME.com, its only a few dollars more and i trust their product.

 

I'm looking into some stock 4195/H10 45W yellow bulbs, its either that or a Broadway mirror, I'm in the same boat as Korey I got money sitting in Paypal...

i ran the same set (not the ones in your pic) of nokayas in my 91 civic, 94 accord and 96 integra .... thats SEVEN YEARS on the same set of bulbs and they didnt eat my wires either

i let em go with the integra though since they wouldnt fit the truck or anything else my family has now

 

I ordered on the 7th and don't have a tracking number yet. I just called and spoke with a girl there and asked when my order is going to ship and she told me according to the schedule it will be shipped early next week. I've been following the threads made by the owner of DDM on another forum, they are still almost two weeks behind. He said they have been working 12 hour days and have had to hire extra people for help with shipping and assembling the kits (combining the correct bulb style/color with the right ballast). I don't care about the wait, they are supposed to be good quality and were cheap with a free lifetime warranty which is based in the US, plus before I paid it said they are 1-2 weeks behind on orders so I knew before I ordered.




Yeah, IDK what jp7 is talking about lol. I always read good reviews on them, as long as you dont got with higher watt bulbs the wiring will be fine. I got my $12 ebay ones in yesterday and they work and look great.

 

Same here. I'm in no hurry to get them.

I'm going to take pics after I get the HID's put in, they are really yellow. Maybe it's just the pics but they look more yellow then Shane's HIDs.

 

I'm sure we will get them. They can't not send you anything.

Update of my friend's kit. One light went out but it turned out to be a lose connection. Still running strong.

 

yeah I'm not gonna buy a set till I have HID, those yellow fogs wouldn't look too good with silverstars...

 

I called today like half an hour after they opened and spoke to one of the guys there. I just was curious as to when the kit was going to ship. The guy there told me it would ship out at some point today and that they ran out of the 3/4 size ballast Apexcone kits and that they are giving me a free upgrade to the slim ballast DDM kit since they ran out of the ones I ordered. Cool! So if you guys ordered the middle priced Apexcone kit you might be getting upgraded to the slim ballast DDM kit.
