Truckaddons.com - very displeased

So I ordered my WAAG brush guard from these guys back on June 16th. They billed my card that day, sent me the confirmation email, and everything looked good. Now it's been almost a month, and I still don't have anything. I submitted a tracking inquiry on their website, I'm supposed to wait up to 36 hrs for a response. My question is - has anyone dealt with this company before? I've never had something take so long to get to me. It's the UPS-able 3 piece guard, so I shouldn't have to deal with freight shipping or anything like that. Anyone please let me know if you have any experience with this company, or if this happened to you before.

I would call them on the phone and ***** at them.. if you cant reach them by phone
have your credit card company reverse the charges... that might get their attention..
they shouldnt bill you until its shipping if they are a good company.

So I tried callin this morning, and I can't even get ahold of a human being. I hate those automated phone systems. I'm gonna give them the 36 hrs from the tracking inquiry before I cancel the charges, but this is really pissin me off. I will not deal with this company again.

Not sure if you noticed but their entire staff's email and phone extentions are listed here. I would contact the sales manager.

I had a rollbar on order with them & after 4 weeks I called them only to find out that they where on back order for more than 2 months because Grizzly got bought out by Go-Rhino. I canceled my order & they tried to charge me a restocking fee.

So, I got ahold of a rep today, and it turns out that the 3-pc guards all sold out just before I ordered mine. So instead, they're going to send me the 1-pc WAAG guard (normally an additional $100 for freight shipping) at no extra charge. I'm still pretty upset that I had to wait so long to get an answer, but I guess it worked out. I prefer the 1-pc anyway, but I just didn't feel like paying the extra shipping charge. Now I just have to wait for it to actually get here.

On another note, I know I'm gonna have to move my tranny cooler around to mount this brush guard, but I'm not exactly sure how it bolts in yet. If anyone else has done this before, let me know, pics would be appreciated. I might just post a new thread when it gets here.

A brush guard came today. It's not what I ordered, but I'm just gonna deal with it. I don't even care anymore. They sent me a polar bear guard, so I'm gonna have to do some mods the the mounting brackets and my front receiver. I'm so pissed off, I ordered the WAAG because it mounts differently, and they sent me exactly what I was trying to avoid. But they're gonna credit me the difference in cost, and I'm going to be done with them.

A WORD OF ADVICE TO ALL TRUCK OWNERS:

DO NOT DEAL WITH TRUCKADDONS.COM!!! THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER, AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY PAINFUL TO DEAL WITH. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN, AND I ADVISE EVERYONE ELSE TO STAY AWAY AS WELL!!!

I got mine from autoaccesories.com and they d*cked me around for almost two and a half months on my manik guard.

Well, if you offroad much, you'll find this wasn't the best way to spend your money pretty fast.

The offroading I do isn't all that aggressive. Mostly just gaslines and some weak quad trails. It will serve my purposes for now, then eventually (years from now) I'll get another truck, this thing will become my toy, and I'll make other investments in a bumper and lift and things of that nature. So I figure I'll get several good years of runnin over small pine trees, and I'll feel a little better about all the deer that run around here, so it works for now. I just wish it wasn't such a pain to get it. Oh well, at least I'll know where not to go for my next accessory.

That is bull s***. If I were you I would return that bar and get what I wanted. Its your truck and you have to drive it so you might as well get it just how you want it.

I ordered a set of tow hooks from them early last week. Got an email saying that my billing address was different from my shipping address and to give them a call. Three times I got transfered to an "internet billing dept" and have gotten only a voicemail service and gotten no responce to my messages. If it happens again, I am calling the credit card company.

Glad to hear you got better service than I did. I guess I could be one of the few that got screwed, but I won't risk it a second time to find out.

Update...

The WAAG bar finally showed up. Details on what happens next...

Although I finally got what I ordered, I still will never deal with these people again, just on basic principle.

I finally got through to a person in customer service that could help me. Supposedly they will be shipped to my door this week... It took 5 calls of getting the run around before I actually got to somebody that could help me.
