2002 FX4 owners please come inside.

I'm wanting to find all the availabe axle codes for an 02 FX4 rear end, and when I say axle codes I'm wanting the ones off the tag on the axle housing itself. Anyone with an 02 FX4 want to crawl under their truck and post whats on their tag?
An example of a possible code might be V305C or V311A...etc.
Thanks

I'm just trying to find the right codes so I can locate a Level II axle. You could just trade me trucks then I wouldn't have this problem.

I'm actually looking for one, but I really never want to own another black vehicle for the rest of my life. At least until I get rich enough to employ a full time detailer to manage it. Also you're just a tad to far away for me.

Edit: so you want to add your code to the list?

Mine is V311A. That is an axle that was replaced under Recall. Now that I have gotten dirt all over my black pants, you can buy me a beer.

I know you people from Cali are different but most of us use creepers either that or work clothes.
Seriously though, thanks for getting that number. I'm trying to piece together a list of axle codes as a lot of salvage yards ask what code you need when they look up their inventory. Keep'em coming guys.

I dont use a creeper or my work clothes I just dont care if my clothes get dirty.

As for the axle codes, try a ford dealer or online parts dealer like tasca and see if that helps

The problem is I know what the list of codes are, I just don't know what they actually mean. I'm pretty sure most of the dealers are just going to give me a list of the codes but not the application.

I used the ranger station library of codes to pick mine.

Ford Ranger Axles - The Ranger Station

So now i'm looking for an axle with the code R8. It's out of a Ranger, 4.56s, L/S, 8.8 31-spline. Apparently the strongest axle put in a Ranger. The question is, which one.

The problem is that they only list the door codes which most Salvage yards don't know. Most of them go by the axle code themselves. Also that page has some inaccurate information on it as well. Its pretty much generally accepted that there never was a 4.56 geared Ranger.
