3rd times the charm
3rd times the charm
only gonna have my ranger for a few more months so im looking for any ideas that are CHEAP and EASY, none of this 8cyl upgrade twin turbo crap, i would love too but i dont have the money or time. So what did yall do to your ranger, little customization wise, thanks yall
Oil changes
Tire inflations
antifreeze/coolant
transmission oil
lightbulb replacement
windshield washer fluid
Those are all cheap, easy, and doable....... and in 8 months when you get rid of it, you won't have regrets about dumping money into a vehicle that you're not keeping.
But it is your money afterall.....

you asked for opinions and you are getting them.
simple maintenance is actually a fantastic idea for short term vehicle ownership. do a full fluid flush. tranny, t-case, diffs, oil, coolant. stuff like that. get it ready to sell. work on any rust. fix problems. you could do some two toning on the paint. or paint your wheels.

LMAO
Suspension lift.
Body lift
Prerunner bumper.
35" rims
M/T shoes
pearl white paint job
tinted windows
5.0 conversion
etc...
Hey... you wanted us to spend you money for you, right? On second thought... since you're getting rid of it in 8 months, might as well put those mods on MY truck. That way you only deal with the installation once and no swapping over. That should save you some time.
When should I bring my truck over?
hehe

I would hope so. Or the most idiotic adult on R/F.
That's find and dandy... but not when you KNOW you'll be getting rid of the truck in 8 months. THAT'S what we are all saying. Regular maintanance is (and will be) your best friend for the next 8 or so months.
save your money for mod's on your next car/truck i remmber at your age 8 months seemed like forever but just wait 8 months will come and go then your have some cash stashed for some cool mods on whatever you get next
DUDE life sucks, i remember how my teenage years were SO ****ING LONG. I'm only 23 and a year goes by quick
I was joking guys. im 19 and in my second year at embry riddle. I am not vehicle illiterate and know how to and continue to do maintainance on her i was just wondering what yall have done that cheap and easy to make her "your" truck, i figured if im only gonna have <year then ill beat the crap out of her out at the compound, i was just looking for fun ideas
OHCs are cheap and easy. If you don't have foglights add some. Either stock or aftermarket. They are a big help. I did so.
So some paint mods or if you are really ambitious do your frame. wire wheel it and rustoleum. When you go to sell you can be like "stripped and painted entire frame"

i did fogs and i loveee them, more than worth it, i painted rims, bed liner, door jams, glove box door, splash guard and plastic cover on top of rear bumper, BUT THANKS FOR THE IDEAS, this is what im talking about, OHC = over headed compartment right?
done the cable mod which is kinda kool, done air box mod, sounds sick, MPG fell like a rock, and ive got a 2000 ranger so no T-bars here... but will wheel spacers do anything for the look? what are the pros and cons of putting wheel spacers on? wont they simply bump my tires out?
