GAS SPILLING

Everytime I fill up my truck at the gas station I end up with a dollor of gas on the ground?? Why do you think the nozzel is not shuting off when it should??? (yes this happens at all stations not just one.)

pay more attention to filling it. if that doesn't work maybe you have something jammed in the filler neck. is that metal flap still there?

Yeah the flap is still there.... it is just an inconvenience. Fill up quick so nothing is in there I would think.....

after the metal filler neck it goes to a rubber tube that runs from the bed down to the tank, if your truck is older which im betting it is, then thats your problem. the only cheap solution i know is to go to pick your part and pull a fresher one. my 89 didnt leak but my buddys 90 did.

yeah my 93 leaked everytime i filled it up, the leak was from the top of the pipe, there was a small crack in it, get under and see if you can see exactly where it may be coming from, then yeah go find a replacement at the JY.

Great! Thanks guys, that is what thought was going on. It is a 94 and it happens just at the very end of the fill up.
