So I'm running into some problems at the end of my project. I took a standard out of a 90 ranger and put it on my 87 2.9. Everything is bolted and good to go, made my new drive shaft but can't get it to start. I hardwired the starter at the connector next to the tranny. The connector doesn't clip into the manual tranny. The only problem is I'm not getting spark from the coil. Does anybody know where these run to because I can't find it. I have tried to wire the connectors tht wouldn't reconnect but I'm stuck and frustrated.
