Water proofing my Ranger. Suggestions please.

I have a 88 Ranger with the 2.9 ltr. v6 in it. The truck is 4x4 and bone stock. I will be transforming it into a hunting/woods truck only. First things on my list is to waterproof the he** out of the electronics and the engine including a snorkel. I will also be moving the radiator to the bed as well as the batteries. Any links or videos to help guide me would be appreciated. Google was not much help. I know I need a bunch of dieelectric grease and silicone. The snorkel and remote rad are what I could use some help with. Thank you and safe wheeling to all.

Silicone grease. It does wonders. On my Toyota I coat the stuff around my distributor and I also have a rubber cover for it to help seal it up. You can pull the spark plug boots off at the engine and coat the silicone grease around those too. Any spots where you think water might be able to get in, you should probably give it alittle coat of it. Its a bit of a pain to clean up but you don't often need to. That and the snorkel. Add some rubber hosing to your diff vents to get them up higher to help you keep some water out, make sure your axle seals are good to help keep water out as well and also make sure your front mail oil seal is good. Doing all that has pretty much made my Toyota a submarine until I get water in my snorkel or exhaust.

Fuel cell would be a good search term.
Or just mod a beer keg.

Was gonna do fuel cell but that was gonna be in the future. Went ahead and ordered a aftermarket tank. I need a roll cage for the bed so I can mount the rad back there. Shoot me any links for some if theyre cheap. Thanx.
