Super 44 or 40 series delta flow?
Super 44 or 40 series delta flow?
I'm going to get a new exhaust sometime soon after my rear end swap. I'm looking t either getting a flowmaster super 44 or a 40 series delta flow. Just wanted some opinions. I have a 1998 4.0l ohv.
I have a SOHC 4.0, but I have had both the Delta 40 and Super 44. I liked the Delta pretty well, but it did not produce a lower sound like I wanted.
I currently have 2.5" piping from the cats back to a Super 44 (SI/DO) to 2.5" piping out the back at an angle under the bumper. This is by far my favorite setup I have ever had. I have had my truck for ~8 years and have had 6/7 different exhaust set ups on my truck.

I am currently running a delta 50 series muffler on my truck, but to be honest it only improves the reverberations and not so much the sound. Which is why I cut sawzall slices in the bottom of it to make it sound better...
