what is this? Its leaking power steering fluid or tranny fluid, i havent seen another ranger with this line on it before

Obviously a filter

But in front of radiator, maybe your Ranger came with second trans cooler, if automatic, which would be mounted low and in front of radiator, and it started to leak, and previous owner only had that filter to bypass it????
