Hi guys! Is there a possibility of swapping a '98 explorer instrument cluster into a ranger dash? The ranger 98 does not have a tachometer, where you can see the RPM displayed, and that's why I am asking, if anyone has done any modifications in that regard.

Yes, 1998 Explorer to 1998 Ranger should be plug and play, except for 2 wires
The Door Ajar light and the Fuel Reset wires are reversed

C215 pin 10 grey/orange wire
C214 pin 11 Black/orange wire

Unpin and swap positions, or don't, its not an operational issue, just warning lights

Tach wring is there on all Rangers
