Inflatable bed pool
Inflatable bed pool
Picked up one of those inflatable pools built to fit in the bed of the truck. I think between 250-300 gallons + weight of a couple people. Would it be safe to say I should put jacks on the frame so I don’t destroy my suspension?
"A pints a pound the world around"
8 pints in a gallon, so a gallon of water weights 8lbs
200 gallons of water would be 1,600lbs, 600lbs over Rangers 1/2 ton, bed/frame weight limit
300 gallons is 2,400lbs close to rear axles limit(2,750) and way over Rangers bed/frame limit
Yes, sturdy jack stands, 4 of them would be needed, to do what you want
Just FYI, Ranger 6ft bed is 52 cubic feet
There are 7.5 gallons of water in one cubic foot
So Ranger bed filled to the top would be 390 gallons, or 3,120 POUNDS, of water, "say good night Gracie"
