Bogging down
Bogging down
Ive got a 2000 ranger with the 4.0 and a 5r55e auto tranny. Starts up and idles fine drop it into gear and it’s fine but once you hit the gas it Boggs down. It’ll run fine in reverse and rev up fine in neutral or park but when in drive it Boggs down. I’ve replaced the tcc, epc solenoid, evap control solenoid and I’m lost. Anyone ever encountered something like this?

Welcome to the forum
Check Fuse 13 in ENGINE bay fuse box
It powers transmission solenoids, EVAP solenoid and O2 sensor heaters, which fits all your codes, well the ones I checked
This fuse usually blows when there is a short in a wire, I know DUH, lol, and most common short is if an O2 sensor wire gets too close to exhaust pipe and melts
So if you replace the fuse and it blows as soon as you turn the key on inspect all 3, or 4, O2 sensors for melted wires
It may be somewhere else or a bad O2 heater, but check O2s first
