truck won't start
That part is for AM radio noise suppression, so no it can't cause a No Start
Usually grounded on a Coil Pack bolt, but can be grounded anywhere
It's plug-in will have 12v with key on, spliced to 12v power wire for coil pack, but would blow a fuse if shorted to ground
When you have a Crank but No Start the first thing to do is 50/50 test
Pull off the air tube on the intake, leave if off for the test
Spray fuel into the engine, open throttle manually, spray in gasoline, quick start(ether), carb cleaner, anything flammable, lol
Then try to start
If it fires up runs and dies then you have good spark but no fuel from injectors
If it doesn't fire up then you have no spark
50/50 instant results, and no guessing
Let us know what happens with that test
