\95 4.0 fuel guage stuc on fuul ever since changed fuel pump
Welcome to the forum
Assuming gauge worked fine before fuel pump swap?
A Wire is disconnected
1995 fuel gauge and sender(in the tank) use these OHMs
16 ohms EMPTY
160 ohms FULL
When a wire is shorted to Ground its 0 ohms
When a wire is disconnected its Infinite ohms, technical term is a million-bazillion ohms, lol
So higher than 160 ohms, and gauge stuck on FULL
On the top of the fuel pump assembly there was a Yellow/white wire, runs to dash board fuel gauge, and a Black/yellow wire that runs to ground, one of these is disconnected
Could be the new fuel pump assembly has a bad fuel level sender, but not as common as disconnected wire
Fuel pump uses a pink/black and black wire
