Hi all,
I'm working on my father in laws 2002 ford ranger 4.0 4x4 auto trans. The truck starts every time and will rev up just fine. The problem is that it is stuck in park and I have no brake lights, no flashers, radio, turn signals, or communication to the data link port. It went out all of a sudden so I think it's one module that controls everything that went out. My question is what module controls all of this and how do I test for it?

I purchased a used GEM off eBAY but that didn't do anything so I don't know if that used GEM was good or not or if it's actually another problem. All of the fuses, fuse links, and relays in both the engine compartment and dash are good. And I do have power to the windows and door locks. I'm stumped....
