Installed keyless door lock actuators recently and looking to also splice into the parking lights to have them flash whenever locking/unlocking.
I assume one of the wires connecting to the headlight **** on the left of the steering column should be able to be spliced into, I believe I need to splice into ground connection of the parking lights.

No, in a 2008 there is no external access to ground the Park Light relay, that was 2006 and maybe 2007 and earlier

Have to use a 12volt activation from Main light switch or its violet/white wire at the SJB

I have a 2009 diagram which matches the 2008 SJB wiring I have

The main light switch sends 12volts to the SJB on the violet/white wire when Park lights are selected
SJB then Grounds the Park light relay when it "sees" 12v on that wire

The 2008 SJB, page 2, matches the 2009 wiring connectors and pin numbers
