2001 Ranger 3.0 Auto - My problem is that it can take 3 -10 minutes, sometimes longer, for the compressor to kick in after I turn the a/c on. Plenty of Freon. It happens whether it's when I crank it for the first time that day or while it's been running and I shut it off for just a while(off for 10to 30) to run in somewhere. Live in south Texas and that sucks on really hot days waiting for the cool air to start blowing. Any ideas?
