Tranny cooler

I would like to install lights behind my grill but the transmission cooler is in the way. Would it hurt to center the cooler in the center of the grill and possibly lower it an inch or two? I would need longer hose to do this so is there any special hose i need or just any high temp hose that fits. thnkx in advance.

+1. Transmission cooler hoses have a ~400 PSI working pressure and the correct materials to accommodate the chemical properties of transmission fluid. Expect to pay about $4 a foot. Do not substitute fuel line.

Not a problem for you. Especially if you operate it in the north. Shoot up here it doesn't even need to be in the air stream all that much. But if you were in the south and/or were towing real heavy loads you'd want to keep it in the main air stream... or possibly put a small fan on it.
