i ordered a scan tool and the next day my light went on so i waited till it came in the mail 2 days later and checked it it said "P0174 Fuel Trim too Lean (Bank 2) "
so what would be causing this since i have gotten it twice in 2 days ?
i do have the k&n cone air filter that came with the truck and my dad seams to think thats the problem.
but i read it could be bunch of things.
i don't have a exhaust leak since i put new gaskets in when the tranny was done .
??

 

MAF dirty or a vacuum leak most likely.

well i will include this :
i have an air horn that uses vacuum but i haven't used it in a couple of weeks maybe the line in leaking .
how would you clean the maf ?

 

Electrical contact cleaner. Just spray it on lightly. Don't spray hard and don't touch it.
