help me with my decision

im tryin to decide if i should get a new(to me) truck or drop a v8 in my ranger, i like to know how yall feel, oh also the newish truck would be a 1999 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with 7in of lift on 37s

oh and the v8 would go in my 1998 2wd ranger xlt ext cab

Throw throw a v8 in that biatch.



thing is......with the way gas is going......and those dodges don't get good anyway, except the cummins.......your way better off by throwing in a v8. You might even get better mileage than the v6 does now. Lighter vehicle, more avalible power = less effort to move = less fuel consumption.


I really should shut up now.

Drop in a v8. Do it.

I like the Dodges but like everyone is sayin power to weight ratio. V8 would be sweet in the ranger. Its a toss up for me

well i think im gonna drop both ideas and buy me a 2003 f-150 Crew Cab 4X4, haha thanks for those opinions though

Why not do both. Buy you a new to you truck to use for a daily driver and then build your ranger the way you want to. That is what I am in the process of doing.
