why is the colorado not a truck? in my opinion they're 4 door z71 i think it is, looks a million times better then any fx4. stock for stock that is. gotta love these ford lovers that just **** on anything that isn't an oval. Not trying to start a childish argument..just saying.

 

i agree, it's not a bad looking truck (factory). my buddy has one and it's got the room inside, he's 6' and so are most of his buds. there is room for the 4 or of us to get in for the night.

if i didn't get a ranger, i'd consider one.

no, it has nothing to do with the fact that it isn't ford... i just legitimately HATE that truck... it looks like sheer ***... true, the 4 door model looks slightly better than the smaller ones... i think the colarado in general, is a half assed attempt at a compact pickup... the stats on my friend's are lower, the price is higher, and i don't think they look good... my opinion, the truck looks like it was a cartoon drawing that found it's way into the 3rd dimension... that and the 4x4 model, stock, sits about 2" lower than mine does... i have a thread on here where i compare my fx4, to my friend's, i don't remember his exact model, but i know his is 4x4, had aftermarket upgraded tires, and a chipped 5 cyl...

i should also point out that the 5 cyl in my opinion, is a 4 cylinder with crutches i have more respect for the turbo 3cyl they had in the fireflies...

 

The owner probally bought this truck, and got a free dog with it just so he would have a companion to walk home with when his truck dies. Its a Chevy it wont be long.

 

sad part was, he sold his 05? ranger for it... and i think he had 33's on his ranger...

dude, I had a Ford, now I've got a Chevy.. And I'm looking to own both again eventually.. Its got NOTHING to do with Ford vs Chevy.. they're ****ing ugly, my neighbor has a Z71 4 door Colorado, hideous.

 

the 04 offroad does sit lower then an 08 pre prekey 4x4.

i scared my buddy when i drove offroad, just a week or two after getting it. he's like "holy f*ck morris! you're gonna roll it!"

 

lift is overrated.. my truck looks like a 2wd, who cares.

 

apparently they make a 2.5L Intercooled Turbo Diesel Colorado..

but I would still rather have the Diesel Ranger. Or a full size diesel truck.

 

honestly, the first one... here's why... the first one has cheap parts you pick out of a catalouge, no custom work, and it looks like crap... look at the american flag bow tie on the front for instance... GHEY!

now, the mustanger, even if you don't like how it turned out, you have to appreciate the effort that was put into the truck to make it work... i mean, yeah, the front end doesn't really suit it, but, you have to admit, it looks professional... it was a lot of work to get that front end on that truck, and it flows perfectly, it was a very well done truck, regardless of your opinion of how the front half style wise matches the back...

 

i wouldn't say the american flag is ghey, but it's use might be. a small flag sticker on the back window or rear ext cab window might have ben a better use of patriotism.


at least the chevy can be undone easier if needed to be sold.

 

i shoudl clarify, i wasn't trying to say putting the american flag on your truck is ghey, i was just saying that the brand emblem stickers WITH the flag is ghey, they look so cheesy
