Funny my original plan was to put on a set of black tips I picked up instead of the corsa tips, but I ended up with the crazy idea of having them welded together and left it alone for a while, I think it looks neat and matches the side steps for the time being. I wish I would have got the side exit kit behind the rear tire, but it's too much money for me to fool around with it at this point

Here's how I did the tips, picked up these:

Painted them black, mated them with these:

And the result:

It's a vinyl overlay I got from patriotdecals.com, I also ran some punisher overlays I had on my ranger from webxtremes.com. They had more of a selection.

Thanks for all the feedback

well, I had patriot decals.com make me some inlays for the FX4 text on the badge and I'm waiting for that to come in! I painted the whole badge dark shadow grey and thought the black letters would look cleaner. They are all done, here's the before and after:

I might just throw them on as is since I'm tired of waiting for them to finish up for me. Good catch tho lol, half the people aren't even noticing that

Nice. I've been tinkering with badges for mine. I just finished the tester last night, I did the opposite of you. I painted the badges black and used a DSG inlay from Patriot. I'm kinda thinking I like your way better... lol

Those are either inlays in his or he did a heck of a job masking them off. I would think masking would almost be more difficult than inlays.

I thought about that route, but when I saw another guy's results the inlays for those didn't seem to look like they "fit" really good. and ya I did tape off the letters, some patience and steady hands with a razor got them masked off pretty well. Up close you can see a couple spots where it's not a sharp line from when I removed the tape, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results!

Ya everyone says those are a bastard to put on, I guess I'll find out with those tiny letters shortly!

It seems like they might have a problem sticking too since they're going on a not flat surface. I've never used them though so idk.

Nice! They turned out great.

I went the inlay route, and yea, pain. But I cut the excess off with a razor, and they don't look terrible.

I'll snap one tonight.

I still haven't totally decided if I'm in love with it yet or not.
