The welder i have been using. Its my uncles, just sat there for ever so he told me i could use it when ever i wanted. so i cleaned it up and bought a new spool of wire for it and a bottle. The helmet hanging off of the bottle is not mine, i tried using it but is sucks ***, so i use my pops helmet.

Then you just arn't a fan of/knowledgeable on stingers, cuz that is a pretty average/common stinger size. Mine is no smaller..

Anyhow, its coming along Donny. Still got plenty-o work to go on it though..

I like everything except that big hoop (stinger?) sticking out. I know its there to protect the front end and what not, but i think you could accomplish the same thing with a smaller one. JMHO. Other than that, get a skid plate under there, powder coat it, and thats a job well done! Can you can make mine next? lol

Well there's ALOT of taste difference between that of a pre-runner style bumper and a rock crawler bumper (which usually has a stinger).

Your right, I'm not a fan at all. I like the look of the plate bumper personally, I understand the usefulness of it I just don't like it.

I like the tube bumpers but I also don't care much for the stingers. A brush gaurd type bumper would suit my taste but everybody has there own thing right...lol

It is all bolt on. I still have tons of work that needs to be done. Today i will start on the stinger supports.

After that the sides will need to be welded to a 1/2" plate, and then bolted the frame most likely. I am still working (thinking) about what i am gonna do.

The plate in the back is a piece of 3/8 steel angle 5"x3" And is bolted in with 2 BAMF bolts(grade 5 i no i no ill get some grade 8 when i can)

When it is all done, i will have it sand blasted, and then rhino lined, or some thing similar.

I guess it looks like a good bumper, but I am not a fan of that style bumper at all.

**** son, toss some support in there and i would rock it, i think it looks sick!

you should weld in a front reciever while your at it

then i'll come steal it

actually its just big enough, correct me if i'm wrong but the main purpose of them is to protect the radiator if you roll it so it doesnt get crushed, along with other vital things under the hood.

Yea it is going to be solid when i finish it. It still needs A LOT of support done.

I really need to get off of my *** and get a stick of tube to finish it and i have the 1/2" plate just need to cut and weld it in. I was also thinking about making some sort of skit plate that attaches to it with some 1/4" steel, but most likely not.
