did the acetone mod
i figured since the black on my 06 emblems were FUBR's, i decided to acetone them

nope, did it on the truck with a cloth, and nail polish remover.. being very careful not to drip on the paint

i don't think its actually peeling, its something in the paint on the emblem, i may have to crack it open, and investigate
