^ That's what I did all day. Had to make sure I liked the new tires. It's like driving around in mud, but it's 100Xs easier to clean off!

Man those winds are crazy. Up here we don't get "snow drifts", because I see like 6 inches of snow in all of your pics on roofs and roads. I'm used to snow falling pretty evenly. I thought Iowa was known for snow? They wouldn't even plow roads up here for how much fell in your pics.

Haha I had to buy a cold rated extension cord for my truck to plug in. It's rated to -86 and i hope it never gets within 46 degrees of that.

We are known for some snow... but not that much at one time. This December we have gotten 27.3 inches of snow, and 1 more inch expected on Wednesday. That will make this the 2nd snowiest month in history for Iowa.

They salt and plow the roads if we get like 2-3 inches or more of snow.

Des Moines has gone thru 2/3 for their snow removal budget and thats after one month. We still have 3-4 months of snow ahead of us.
