You're really lucky. The combination of wind and snow is never good, especially when you get over a foot of snow.

We got a ton of snow because gulf moisture was streaming up here colliding with the cold air. This probably isnt going to happen to ya'll so you won't get that much snow probably.

its starting to make landfall from lake michigan here, theyre calling for 12 inches and up to 20 in some areas, we get the storm you got and than lake effect on top of it. plus theyre calling for 20-30 MPH winds. this could suck!

I came out from college to do my parents driveway... and the snow was over the roof of my ranger at the end of the driveway... over my head even when I stood on the tube steps!

Nothing like climbing a mountain of snow to snowblow a driveway.... I like the snow though, its nice to know I can drive in it and other cant :) I get places with less anger!

Was that around Feb 1997 ?
I live on the East end of the county , on Tug Hill.
We had 97" in 24 hours from 5:30 Friday morning to 5:30 Sat morning plus 4 feet by Sunday noon. I was plowing steady for 60 hours before I curled up in the seat and passed out due to lack of caffein.

All we get in SW OH is ****tons of wind and some rain! I wish we could get enough just to make everything white. I would be content with just that little!

That was the temp during the storm. Tonight it is going to be -8 and -20's or -30's with the windchill.

Haha I live in Eastern Iowa and got what he got as well...it's fun as hell.

I loveeeeee driving around through town in the snow..because no one is out. You can pretty much go wherever you want.

Plus I made $40 today for pulling/pushing people out of being stuck. It was quite nice, especially since I didn't ask for money.

Yeah feeln the cold now. Going to be like zero for a high and -20+ windchill. These are the temps when winter starts to suck. When you can't uae an extension cord cause it won't bend. Glad I dont work construction anymore.

anyways, that tractor made me laugh, in california the government worker unions would be too uptight to let the farmers help
