Finally Lifted, LEDs, Tires, and all that

Between school, work, and military I've managed to find time for some modifications.

Id been rocking leveling and 29.5 tires for too long, so as a broke college kid I got a body lift and 31s...

It arrived so I prepped (surprisingly clean under the bedliner)

Then I removed the carpet in the cab for good because it is 13 years old and wet and gross and smelly. and drain plugs are much more effective if you can get to them...

Then my 20$ vent visors arrived...

Was pretty stoked. Wasnt hard to do but it did take a day and some night to do. Tires are destination A/T in 31x10.5 (wish I would have gone with 32 or even 33 but I couldnt stomach not regearing.)

Was looking for a bit of power to kind of compensate for the tires..Not sure if porting the upper and lower and a hot water bypass helped but it couldnt hurt...

Then I saw my buddies jeep with quick discos...so I ghetto engineered some myself...got some good bushings that wont rot and used a monster hitch pin clip and now I can wheel truly independent.

One night while wheeling I gently reversed into a tree that I couldnt see with stock lighting so I got fed up and decided to over haul the truck with LEDs with a focus on reverse lighting...

Then I bought a rigid case LED bar for reversing from superbrightleds for $25 and just shy of 1000lm. IP67 rated so no worries there and it makes so much light its crazy!

I noticed how crappy my paint was looking lately so I decided to go all out and clay bar, dual action polish, then clay yet again, then sealant, followed by 3 layers of hard shell wax with the final layer being a high quality spray on nanowax to fill in the little micro cracks in the wax. the end result was a mirror.

All this on a 13 year old truck with over 200,000 miles.

niiiiiice. truck looks solid dude. i love white and black. you gonna get a tailgate at some point?

also, you could have run 32's and 33's w/o re-gearing for sure. what gearing do you have now? mine has 4.10 stock and I run 33's just fine.

Also, you're gonna want to put carpet or vinyl on the floor. If you thought it was bad before, wait a few months....you'll learn to hate not having anything down there on your primary driver. Gravel, mud, sand, crumbs, etcblahblahblah. Or...maybe you should just rubberize it?

I have a tailgate, I just dont need the extra ~50 lbs when running around town, it partially negates the weight of the toolbox and tool. But I still put it on occasionally to tow junk

I have since dropped the bumper all together and put two hooks on the frame where the bumper mounts used to attach. The pictures I used in the OP were spaced out over 6 months so some are out of order. I used the misplaced hook to tow friends around on car hoods lol
