It is a pad so that when I got mountain biking with my buddies we can just throw our bikes over the tailgate and nothing gets scratched.

if i remove my sway bar is that gunna hurt anything? i'm doing a 3" suspension lift and going with 31's. What will it do to its drivability?

You will get a lot more body roll, promoting understeer as well. I personally won't do it to my daily driver. Looking into some sort of quick disconnect would be best.
