Goodbye Power Wagon, Hello King Ranch

Well the time came to trade the power wagon in for a diesel. Just pulling too much now for the gas to cut it. Might as well upgrade to a 1-ton from a 3/4 ton

Last job with the wagon

You will grow to fall in love with the 6.7!! I drive one day in/day out in the form of an F550 aluminum flatbed tow truck. Absolutely love it! Downside is she drinks DEF though...but the power she has is amazing. Definitely the most well rounded tow truck I've ever driven.

Nice. Those power wagons are pretty sick. But I didn't have 50+K laying around to get a fullsize haha.

Wow, just looked at a map..didn't realize Midland was *that* west

Yeah I was debating driving to Midland(to maybe apply for jobs) then Houston. Checked the route on Google maps. It'd be 16 hours for me to do that path...bleh.

First test will be tomorrow. Tongue heavy shower trailer since they mount the 250 gallon tank on the front of the trailer. Not a good design.

I think they stopped that back in 06, but it's possible they could've started doing it again on the new trucks.

Pulled first trailer today. These things are heavy on the tongue due to the water tank being up front.

Pulled like it wasnt even there.

It begins. I have 2 of these coming in the 30" version. Going to mount them in the grill. I've read good things about them so we will try. Olympus Off-road. Picked up a handful of rock lights for the ranger as well.
