I'm driving to ruidoso today. Hopefully they don't get too much snow before I get there. Doesn't look bad yet.
Turned out to be the fuel pump, dead as a doornail. Not only would the pump not run but the plastic fuel line inside the tank was broken and basically disintegrated when I touched it. The cloth filter thingy was in pieces all over the inside of the tank. On top of that the plastic ring that holds the fuel pump to the tank was cracked about 80% of the way around.

Had to order the retaining ring but I got a new pump, and fuel filter. Hopefully I can have her running tomorrow for the first time in a while. Fingers crossed that nothing else is wrong.

Sorry for the thread jack lol.

btw, have fun in Ruidoso!

Damn, I know since I don't ever drive mine I feel like it isn't reliable for some reason but it just cruises along lol

I swapped out my rigid dually fogs for some rigid DOT legal duallys. Nice to be able to run these all the time

They are great. Nice cutoff and brighter than the original duallys. They say they put out 1,760 lumens.

I have a pair of the original duallys but haven't installed them yet. I must've got them right before the DOT ones were released. May have to sell those and get a set of the DOT version. Those look really nice.

Yeah you can't run regular duallys on the road cause their pattern is basically a huge circle and will be in people's eyes no matter how you mount them.

Comparison

Wow, that's a huge difference. You just sold me on them.

Well while I've been working on the ranger mostly I still have done a few things to the KR

Installed in a swingcase toolbox

Put in LED's in the license plate & side lamps on the steps

Moved my old rigids to the back for extra backup lighting. Works great for backing in a trailer at night where you can't see.

Now I wish I would have gone through with putting my LED pods in a similar spot like yours.

I even made the brackets to mount off the hitch

I was pleased with the output. I didn't know if I could get a good pattern with them tucked up under the truck.
