Unshielded HID bulbs in stock reflectors always glare. I don't care what anyone says, they glare. The newer bi-xenons that have a good shield around the bottom of the bulb are much better, but without the shield, the beam pattern is just like a high beam, and at twice the lumens of a halogen.

As for color, I like the pure white/very slightly blue look. 5-6000K is good. The light is very close to daylight, and it just looks clean to me. However, the real blue and deep purples irritate the hell out of me. The people who have those always have the 55W units, too, so they're blindingly bright, and stupid colored.

Good to see you went with 5,000k instead of 6,000k. Looks so much better.

well i can understand why you didnt like them before you had them. ITS BECAUSE THEY ARE BRIGHT AS HELL WHEN YOU MEET THE OTHER GUY ON A TWO LANE. i hated the altimas on the streets before i got mine and now i love them mine are "8k" but they seem to be leanin towards the whiter side more than the blue to purple beam

Alright. Yours look to be plug-n-play. I can't tell if the ones I posted will be.
