We got 4" of snow yesterday, 1/2" of ice overnight, and 4" more of snow today.
My rear tires lost traction about six times going in to work yesterday, including a nice fishtail going up the highway entrance ramp (2WD FTL).
I didn't go anywhere today (Lvl 3 snow emergency FTW), and spent all afternoon cleaning the truck and driveway once the snow stopped.
Now that I've defrosted and eaten, it's time for a hot shower and a warm bed.

We were caught by whats now called the ' October Surprise '. It was mid-fall in season and the leaves didn't let go yet. Freezing rain came along and all the weight caused toughly 40% of the trees in the City of Buffalo to break.
Walking around, you could hear power amplifiers on the telephone poles for both phone systems and cable systems exploding along with the sounds of lightning and breaking branches. Was eerie but also ' neat ' at the same time.

W e had the same thing. At night you could see bright flash of blue and a loud boom.
Looked and sounded cool but really you only hoped no one was around it.
