installed a new gauge (pics)

installed a new gauge (pics)

had an idea and some gift cards to waste so i got this from summit... ambient air temp, pod, temp sensor

ya im too scared to cut the headliner and install one so this is as close as i can get

im just looking for the best place to mount the temp sensor. i did some searching and couldnt find what i was looking for. anyone the best place to mount it so it doesnt pick up engine heat? pics would be nice
