Honestly when I switched to Silverstar Ultras I did not notice any difference from the stock bulbs. They might have been a tiny bit brighter but it cost around $45 to get a set for your fogs and heads. For that price you can get an HID kit and get soooooo much more light.

I got them online. Everything is overpriced in stores. I paid $17 for my heads and $19 for my fogs.

You mean the ballast caused your radio to static? or you referring to something else?

I honestly don't use the radio that much, I'll have to check on my way to class today.

Lol yes I'm sure, it said ultra on the box. Well my regular heads were just regular Silverstar since they don't make the Ultras for the 9008/H13 bulb.

yea lots of them out there do. soon as you turn them on you will hear it. Analog ballast are really bad about it but some digital will do the same. Let me know what you come up with. Id like to get a set for my wifes civic.

They were a site sponsor on one of the F150 forums. I didnt keep buying them. Only bought one set but he had to send me 2 more sets of ballast because of the static. you have the same kind as the ebay link?

Just tested. Absolutely not static.

As far as everyone posting their HID questions in my thread, I don't really mind that much but just FYI there is a How To on this if you would use the search feature.
