made a "minor" modification to the Bug (take 3)

so..... ill give you guys a teaser photo first.



and ill show you what preempted this change of pace for the bug,



basically, my oil cooler blew up.

so i disassembled the engine and began a slight build up.

nope. i like forced induction. but for my bug, i prefer all natural.

78.8 forged counterweight crank
forged rods
forged 94mm Mahle pistons and cups
teflon buttons
engle w120 cam
scat chromolly lifters and pushrods
p/p heads dual weber 44's

that'll be a little bit of an upgrade. from a 1600cc to a 2178cc.

awesome......i am in the process of rebuilding my bug motor but wont be as big as yours....i could only afford the 1641cc kit with a few upgrades

that will be a very nice motor when you get it done

I've been thinking about done some upgrades to my 69 VW Camper Bus which right now is a 1600DP.

I'm getting it ready for some cool weather camping.
