If your going to wheel a 2wd might as well put a hitch in the front and do it right.
Might as well just remove the bumper...at LEAST the valence, and run the front hitch for a good tug point.

Nah you know I was implying to put the hitch in and then cover it up with a front bumper valance

Someone over at TRS was on the internet all of 2 minutes and found a solution.

And HOW would this be a bolt on to the front of her frame?

it won't. up there it's boxed. she still has to lose the valence/bumper thing unless she don't mine it gettin' ripped off during a tug.

She's getting rid of it, so it's not like she need to put anymore money into it.

Even if you were to pull from that x-member, there is no need to be yanking it. If you can't get it out by getting the strap tight and pulling, then don't be getting running starts to like 100mph to get someone out. Like I stated before, someone/something can get seriously injured.

I have an answer...pull from the rear. There is no good way to pull fromt he front, even with a set of hooks, I like the hitch, because it's like a 2nd x-member.

And I have another answer...don't dig yourself down. If your stuck, your stuck. I don't even pull people out that do **** like that. Even when i'm on the ATV, if I start to get stuck, I just stop. Low wheel spin is key. Your not going to get out by mashing the throttle, I see it all the time and just laugh and keep on going.

Digging down to the bare bottom of the frame is a pure sign of amatuer wheeling. I can't stand it. It's like, you weren't stuck bad at all 5 mins ago, and now you need a winch or a bigger truck.

A lot of times, which this will sound stupid, but it's tried and true, you can pull sideways from the rear, so swing it around, and it will get someone out really easy w/o yanking them...2wd only though. 4wd it just causes problems.

they had two other trucks there. a 4wd and a 2wd. a 4wd pull from the rear, if it gets stuck, there is still a 2wd to pull it back out, or daisy chain a recovery attempt.

I would have at least hooked like 3 ropes together (i'm assuming everyone had their own rope), and pulled...it would have came right out from the rear...esp if they had 150ft of rope (50ft rolls).

I've been stuck bad, and never once has kevooo or any other small truck not been able to just "pull" me, I've never had to be yanked that bad.

It wasn't 100 mph, it was 5 at the most. We couldn't get the truck out by tightening the strap and attempting a crawl, the ground was just too soft.

As stated before I tried pulling from the rear. Too much muck behind the stuck truck to get a good footing, I was starting to bury myself. Actually tried going sideways also, no luck there either. No winches and no bigger trucks around, had to make do with what was available.

Kelly, regardless its not going to be good enough for 'em. We'll just call a tow truck next time so they'll complain about someone else. She's not going to back us either for getting the mud anchor out of there either..

Ya I guess so. Oh well, what can you do? It's the internet and everybody's going to think they know the solution when they weren't even there.
