Yea, we don't know what we are talking about.

I've got over 10yrs under me mudding, weather that be trucks or atv's, etc...

I know a thing or two. And the last thing I would try to do is damage someones truck in an attempt to get them out.

You guys could have done a lot of things different, including daisy chain two trucks together. I've done taht countless times. Works like a charm. That would have got her out like no-ones business.

But I don't know what I'm talking about, so ignore me.

HAHAHAHHA now that is funny!

It's the "we'll break your stuff" 'recovery' group.

If i do get stuck...o well. ive been stuck before. Not fun, but it happens.

Thats how i blew a piston the 1st time i went muddin...an thats why im doin a 5.0 swap now.lol.

You live an you learn...unfourtanetly i learned real bad.lol. But the good side to it is now i got a 5.0

But as far as getting pulled out of the mud its jus comon sense and maturity on how to do it.

Sorry. I was just trying to stay out of at least one internet fight, but if you really want me to voice my opinion then so be it.

There was no other place on the front of the truck to pull it out and the 4x4 was sinking and getting stuck when it tried to get me out from the rear.
You risk breaking things when you mud and off road, that's life and that's why I am getting a car. I cannot afford breaking the truck any more.
I don't mind the tiny breakage on the front, could have been a TON worse such as I could have been stuck in there for good.

If it's anyones fault, it is mine because I took a truck out that had no recovery points on the front.

I am not mad at anyone, and no one else should be mad either.

Yea, it's no ones fault. I mean you live and you learn. I'm just saying I've learned a lot...I ruined my transmission by getting water in it...got plenty of pics of that.

Thats one of the reasons I got a front and rear hitch, to have permanent, sturdy recovery points. I always hate having a problem witha recovery point. Even though I don't 'mud' mytruck anymore, it still gets dirty...and I need recovery points for myself and others.

It's not who is right or wrong, it's what you can do next time so the situation doesn't happen again.

Alright, I looked at the pictures and skimmed a few posts.

Katie, I have 2 front towhooks I pulled off a 00 Ranger in the boneyard a couple years ago that I had plans for with my Bronco. Seeing as I no longer have it and I have what I need on the Ranger, I'm willing to just give em away. It's your call, you're welcome to PM me if you want em.

I have to say it, like I've said before and will again, I hate mud with a passion because of the fact you tear your crap up that much faster. I'll crawl anyday, because the worst I'll see out of it is body damage, or broken U-joints or driveshafts and axleshafts... easier fixes than transmissions and engines if hydrolock occurs in mud.

Bring it out and we'll go out again. How's the duck lake mudhole up in Deltona? Last I heard it was closed but that was months ago, did it get reopened yet?

With all the other bad drivers on the road, the pavement is way more dangerous than the dirt. If you don't have worries on the road then you shouldn't be behind the wheel.

Thats not how I meant it, I meant worries of drivetrain parts getting broken along with body damage.

I know about other drivers I ride a motorcycle trust me I know about worries with drivers around me.
