i still wanna know how the tie rods hooked up, is there like 2 threads still holding on? or did yall weld some all thread in there?
I was replying to you in that last post. I should of quoted it... I wasn't replying to the clown before me. We welded in pieces of metal and slipped tube over it and welded that. It will be plenty strong. I personally think it's very strong and safe too by the way he did it.

About those tie rods.... you never did give an explanation of how/what you did to em, if anything.

Please explain.

Come on guys, leave the bashing outta the thread. Honestly. He wanted to show us some custom stuff he and his buddy did. If he was looking for you to bash him I think Cory woulda asked. I'm sure they're gonna test it out before it's put to use. He's not stupid.

/end hack.

We did the build together and he welded the steering. Sorry for the confusion.

not really bashing but trying to get answers out of him is like getting gum to drip like water...

whats with the tie rods?

whats with the stock jack points ?

still using the T-bars?

or coil over's ?

gonna upgrade the ball joints?

maybe go to a better wheel bearing then a 4x4 unit that wants a CV on it with a nut to hold pressure on it to keep it from grenading?!

what i know now i wouldnt wanna ride on the road next to it....

See what i mean he runs off....

normally this imply that he can not answer the questions or wasn't prepared to have the work questioned in any way....

why share pics if no other info is going to be given? not bashing.

Im just curious and try to learn from reading about other peoples projects on here... posting low res pics of weird looking stuff then not explaining anything is going to get questioned.

Tie rods are functional.

Those are steering stops, not jack points.

Still using torsion bars.

No coil-overs.

Wouldn't matter if they're extended CV's like the ones I may be running soon.

It's a good thing you don't live around here then is it Zach?

I dunno yet. I drive by his truck every morning on my way to school. He works just down the street from where I live so I'll try and stop in and check it out. Neither one of them are stupid like Stoner thinks.

For what it's being used for RIGHT NOW, it's safe. I don't know what his plans are for the truck though. Like I said, I'll find out.

stock steering stops are on the Knuckle and it contacts the lower Control arm at the base... so he added steering stops that use the stock jack loops?

so same travel as before maybe 2-4" up travel on a long arm set up... interesting.. not really practical...

Who the hell are you to come and demand all this **** from Cory, Zach. Give him some space and time.

I may have been looking at something else in the pics, like I said, when I see it next I'll make sure I spell out how well it works for mr. stoner.

I'm damn glad too Zach you don't live anywhere near me, cuz seriously the way you respond to some people, I would purposely run straight into you with my truck. You really are an ***. I'm done replying here now too. Until I see the truck. So **** off.

Funny how i am asking simple questions for the people that built it and yet the guy cant answer leaves and I am the bloody A** in this lol... funny as hell

also pointing out a HUGE issue that the truck shouldnt be on the road to save him and HIS truck from damage or hiting another motorist but once again remember who the A hole is!

Nothing was "demanded", the way I saw it we were all quite nice.

He posted pics and then gave no explanation what so ever as to anything in the pics, he was there, supposedly done some of the work, so really he shouldn't need anymore time or space.
