My New ( To me ) 04 Ranger

I sold my mustang. Bought This ranger. I take great care of all my cars and put a lot of time into them - so it was a hard decision. But I am Glad I made it.
When I had the mustang, All i cared about was going faster. I was unable to enjoy the car, and even life - the mustang had consumed me and robbed me. It was a tough decision, but I sold the mustang. And I bought this ranger. 115k miles, and she only cost me 4,000 bucks!
I love this little 3.0. With the 4:10s and 5spd automatic she feels real drive-able and comfortable.
She was bone stock, with nothing when I got her. Since buying it about 3 months ago I have installed: Window tint, 12" subwoofer, K&N filter with silencer removed, wrangler all terrain tires and some minor stuff, in addition to a fresh tune up.

Enough talking. Here are some pictures to help pass the time by

Homage to the mustang. we are all ford family here. We can respect another Ford besides a ranger.

Nice truck, and great price too. What're you plans for this, or are you gonna keep it sorta stock?

Exactly. Every mark - every scratch; kept me up at night. every dollar, spent on some sort of mod, one way or the other. Always one more thing. Even when you are driving it - you only think of what else you can put on.

With this ranger..i dont have to care. its just...there. and the dings and dents only add character to a truck like this imo. I almost like seeing this truck dirty - i have to fight the urge to clean it sometimes.

I'm going in the army soon. once I get out of basic, I want to do a:

* 2 inch front lift , 1 inch lift in back (please advise)

*bigger tires and new wheels
* 4:55 or w/e gears ranger guys run on bigger tires (i have 4:10 at moment, please advise on this also) and rocker arms for my top end.

*SCT tuner.

I also want to get the transmission rebuilt with a shift kit ( ive lost a gear - but my work ranger i use to drive in high school while delivering auto parts has lasted over 4 years like this)

but for right now - im just going to be switching the oil to Royal Purple.

I wasnt expecting to enjoy the truck as much as i am now when i first bought it. I dont usually like small trucks at all - but these trucks just look so wonderful and "tactical" lifted. I might just spend some money on her.
