My replacements
buy that sh*t!
I want a set of Caddy wheels for mine. I think those 17" Escalades are some of th ebest looking wheels you can put on a Mazda.
I got the chrome bumper installed today.
Also, my alternator belt snapped and cut my coolant return hose so not only did the belt snap, it pissed coolant all over the place. So I bought a new belt and hose and got it all fixed up and it's good as new.

I see them on the old 70's & 80's trucks alot. I've always liked the look too.

^ The sex.
yup. Had them on my old truck, painted them black

Swapped the chrome bumper onto my truck from the black one yesterday

Ceck out how low it sits compared to the F150. My roof barely comes to the top of the tailgate lol

question though. i know they have like 90 hp (the one im looking at is carbed)....are they really that slow?
my trucks got stock gearing, 32s, and a 3.sloooooow....cant be too much of a difference right? lol
i dunno man i normally wouldn't say anything but why the hell would you trade your nice mazda that was 4wd and pretty new for two old as hell mazda's. i dunno i just don't see the gain in having one that needs a hell of alot a work to get to your old trucks status.
But i guess to each there own lol

Because my truck had a f*ckload of miles on it...over 260 000 and was still on the original timing chain. I got the truck from my dad. I never wanted it, I never asked for it, I never paid for it...and honestly, I'd never go out and buy a Ranger with my own money because I don't even like them all that much. It was a total pig on gas which was the biggest thing that annoyed me, and the small bed was also annoying, as was the small ext cab. Seriously, the B2200 is way roomier inside and also has a wider and more usable bed. Not to mention parts are dirt cheap for them, they are simple as hell to work on and super good on gas. Plus I don't need 4 wheel drive because I never use it and I live in a city where having 4 wheel drive is for soccer moms in SUVs. That and the B2200s are just so much fun they're addicting. The Ranger has no character or uniqueness to it. Each B2200 I've driven seems to have its own character. But really, it comes down to simplicity and cost of ownership and the B2200 beats the Ranger in every way.
Randy, for the motors, they aren't terrible. They actually are pretty decent. They aren't fast by any means, but they are peppy and get you where you need to go. Obviously the FI engines are better and more efficient than the horrible Nikki carbed ones. In 91, FI became standard and in 90 they started phasing out the carbs.
If you do get a carbed truck, your best bet is to buy a Weber 32/36 2 bbl carb and a Pacesetter header.

hopefully tomorrow when i call em up and everything goes well...i just might have one!.....crossing my fingers.
btw, if i did get it, your black and green b2000 would be a big influence on mine...love what your doin to your trucks man
Go for it if you can! Feel free to take any ideas from the green truck...pretty much all the mods on it were factory options other than the wheels.
BTW...paint was Duplicolor Grabber Green and Duplicolor Gloss Black Engine Enamel.

chrome bumpers are impossible to find for mazdas. this is like the holy grail of mazda parts. i'm trying to get all the chrome bits for the truck.
I still need the grille, mirrors, interior door latches, door handles and trim around the window cranks to finish it off.

Yup, I gotta get a set of Eskies now. Those look sweet as hell on there.
I love the Mazdas because they look so good even when they're all stock but totally slammed, and that's how I'm building mine. I want it to look stock, but slammed.

btw, are there any more good forums or links besides the ones you posted for these lil mazdawgs? cuz i cant find anything for em lol
Got together with my buddies lastnight. Had a little photoshoot. The green truck has the mismatched front end cuz he got in an accident last week, so we bought a complete B2600 4x4 and swapped front clips.

Check this out....black leather power and heated Volvo seats. They are amazing!

My interior with my new Grant wheel. I mounted my GPS to my dash, so I can use it as my speedo and odometer. "Digital dash" mod lol

2nd Gen JDM RX7 wheel if you're wondering

Jester's '69 International 1100 pickup. Total beast.

And his 67 Chrysler Newport

Mazdawg

Sweet pic from the International

My rear bumper is off right now cuz it's too heavy with how low my truck is and causingit to bottom out too much. I'll probably put it back on when I get my C-notch, or I might just sell it if I'm getting the bed from the green truck.
