my new (to me) 02 ranger xl

here is my new dd. 02 xl, 2.3, 5 speed. no frills at all except a/c. i really like the new twin cam 2.3 a lot better than the older versions.

i just removed and painted my grille with some duplicolor trim paint thanks to the grill removal thread i got off this site. what a help you guys have been already.
the before pics are on my camera. i will add them later.

Great little truck you got there!

i agree with Kris paint the bumper gloss black and use duplicolor bumper paint on the lower valance, it will look mint. You could also to the wheels black

A good AIO polish and wax would fix that though.

overall i am pretty cool with it, but i have noticed some weird cupping wear on the inside of the right front tire. it just passed a missouri inspection, but for 12$ those guys do lots of shortcuts. i guess i need to check the front end out. the truck has 109k on it.

here's the before pics of the grille. i have no idea what was going on with it, but soap, water and scotch brite didn't do much to change things so i just cleaned and shot it with duplicolor trim paint.
