absolutley...on my axle, i have 78-79 outers. my knuckles. and there not flat top knuckles which is what u need to run a high steer arm. i thought i could get the top of the knuckle milled down to a flat top but theres not enough material up there to mill it, and then tap it for the bolts. so i fabbed that up and its just as strong and works just as good
